Scamming facts about FreeHookups.com
There are hundreds of beautiful women on FreeHookups.com that post nude photographs and contact you through the site’s chats and messages almost immediately after you create a profile for free. Does it sound too good to be true? Well, the terms and conditions of use agreement displayed on the site confirms all our suspicions.
1) Hookup Assistant Service
All the women who send you email and chat messages are completely made-up profiles, also called Hookup Assistant, bear no resemblance to any real person. The women in the live cams and videos feature, they are all models, hired and paid to entertain you. The reason FreeHookups.com has the need to fabricate and employ people to interact with you is because the site has no real women users. But, what is a dating site without any women you can date, right? This also makes us conclude that the scam is directed at men, and that they are the target of interest of FreeHookups.com.
FROM THE TERMS OF USE: “FreeHookups.com UTILIZES VIRTUAL PROFILES THAT DO NOT CORRESPOND TO ACTUAL MEMBERS. An HOOKUP ASSISTANT may be a digital actor, an avatar or a synthespian (e.g. a computer generated “person” or “character”). HOOKUP ASSISTANTS may be employed by freehookups.com or a third party to enhance Your online experience. You further acknowledge and agree that any information or pictures displayed to you via an HOOKUP ASSISTANTS profile does not relate to an actual person.”
2) Computer-Automated or Electronic Communications
Through the computerized communications on FreeHookups.com, the second role of the Hookup Assistants is revealed. Not only are they used to fill up the site, but they also serve to send you (and other real users) automated messages, which also seem real. Messages start pouring, and distract you from reading the fine print in which all the scam is revealed.
FROM THE TERMS OF USE: “The HOOKUP ASSISTANT services can include the posting of information, pictures and/or communications directed to You. You understand, acknowledge, and agree that, the HOOKUP ASSISTANT may contact both free Members and paid Subscribers via text based communication either within the site and/or via email notifications in order to increase activity and to monitor the compliance to these Terms.”
3) Rip Off And Automatic Billing
When you first sign up on FreeHookups.com you are asked to provide your credit card information as a confirmation that you are above 18 years of age and can legally use site’s services. While this may seem like a naive and sincere precaution, it is not! If you pay better attention to the faded letters on the top of the payment page you will notice a check box already checked for you that informs you that subscribing to FreeHookups.com will cost you. Here is how much:
- $1.98 for 2 days of trial subscription
- $39.72 for a recurring monthly subscription

The Verdict On Free Hookups Site
A site that is not free, there are no cheaters except for the fake profiles, and there will never be any hooking up since the only real people are paid employees of the site, who have no interest in ever meeting you. The only interest this site has is to rip you off, without even notifying you first.
I immediately knew it was a scam and didn’t bite. I posted a craigslist ad and received a quick hit. First email promised pictures and phone number when I responded I was instructed to verify myself with freehookups. I looked at the site saw they want CC info and clicked off.
I told the emailer no thanks and received a follow up message providing me with a CC number, CVS, and exp. date to use.
Totally baffled how that will turn out in wasn’t about to follow the ruse anymore and marked the email as junk.
I then received another hit to my Craig’s at following the first hit’s format but from a different person. I’m guessing they use a bot to contact their victims.
Can you name sites that are really legitimate? If I may ask?
I was sent sick pictures and I have never signed up for any of it. I asked them to stop and I got 5 more emails with nude pictures.
Yea I knew it is as a fake site but still wanted to search it for myself. I noticed the faded area right away. But most irritating is these people are creating Facebook profiles to lure people. That’s how I found out about the site
ashamed to say have fallen for scam. How do I cancel my membership
